29 Jan Contacta Introduces New Products and Upgrades at ISE 2025

UK innovators in assistive listening technology, Contacta Systems, are set to debut cutting-edge advancements at ISE 2025. This event provides a prime platform for the company to showcase its latest offerings to industry professionals and attendees alike. 

Spotlight on Innovations at ISE 2025

At ISE 2025, Contacta will reveal two standout new hearing loop drivers:

• ID-6: A compact yet robust Class-D driver, optimized for unattended applications such as signage, LED kiosks, and elevators. Offering 7 V to 15 VRMS output, 5 A capacity, and features like high-frequency compensation, line gain, and drive adjustments. It also optionally incorporates a backup battery circuit to ensure uninterrupted service.

• ID-7: An elevated alternative to the HLD5 model, tailored for installation in meeting rooms, classrooms, and consultation spaces. It boasts a 9 V–24 VDC supply, 100 V line input, and the ability to be daisy-chained as part of a phased-array setup.
  

Expanded RF (Radio Frequency) Assistive Listening Options

ISE 2025 also marks the unveiling of Contacta’s refreshed RF range:

• RF-TXRM-D-865/915: A stationary RF transmitter with Dante™ support, available in both 865 MHz (UK/EU) and 915 MHz (USA/AU) bands. Perfect for large-venue deployments, it enables wireless, amplified assistive listening via FM waves with Ethernet audio transport via Dante™.

• RF-PK1-865/915 and RF-PORTABLEKIT: Two portable kits designed to enhance mobility. The RF-PK1 model supports one-to-one conversation amplification, while the RF-PORTABLEKIT allows presenters freedom of movement—ideal for lectures, conferences, or guided talks.
  

Ran Meyrav, Head of New Business Development at Contacta, commented that the expansion of the RF line directly responds to customer demand. These compact receivers are suitable for hearing-aid users and headphone users alike—excellent for noisy industrial environments, museum tours, or any scenario needing enhanced clarity.

Upgrades to the “V Series” Hearing Loop Range

Attendees at ISE 2025 will also get a first look at the upgraded V+ Series, including V7+, V15+, V15a+, and V22+ models. These versions come packed with enhanced firmware performance and new features, representing a significant evolution from the original “V Series”.

Additionally, Contacta will demonstrate their new programming software for the VLD1 Transport Loop System, offering a hands-on experience for installers to explore setup and configuration.
