25 Nov Contacta Systems in APAC region with YYST distribution deal

Assistive listening specialists Contacta Systems Ltd have entered the Asia-Pacific market with a region-wide distribution deal with YYST Global.

YYST Global is a leading provider of IT and AV services, and will distribute products from Contacta’s window intercom, RF, IR and hearing loop ranges.

Ran Meyrav, Head of New Business Development for Contacta, said the deal is timely.

“As with many parts of the world, Southeast Asia has a growing elderly demographic and with that comes a greater prevalence of hearing loss.  Awareness of assistive listening technology is growing rapidly and we’re delighted to have established this partnership with YYST Global to serve that interest.

“We have a sales history in the region but wanted to find a local distribution partner to increase our reach to market and offer better support. YYST was an ideal partner for that, and have  a well-established client base.”

With its head office in Hong Kong, YYST Global has a network of regional offices and distribution centres. This gives customers in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Hong Kong access to Contacta’s products.
