Contacta takes its responsibility of ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 very seriously. In cases of the company carrying out both the supply and installation of any Speech Transfer or Induction Loop system, it will ensure full removal of any existing equipment for proper WEEE disposal through its factory in Basildon in full accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations SI 2006/3289 and all associated amendments. This also includes taking back old batteries used on any of the comapny's Portable Loop or Clipboard Loop range. Please note we will not remove nor dismantle any items which are or have been in contact with any asbestos based material.
