TV Listening System

The My-T TV Listening System is aimed at providing first class sound reception from the television or other other audio system for people who wear hearing aids fitted with a telecoil (T) facility.

The system consists of two main components: the transmitter, which connects to the television or audio system, and the receiver, which is placed in close proximity to the hearing aid wearer. The system can be set up in minutes and does not require complex installation to the room or trailing leads on the floor.

Sound is picked up from the TV by the transmitter which then sends it wirelessly to the receiver using infra red technology. The receiver is presented in an attractive portable housing which can be placed on a table, chair or even on the floor providing the unit is no further than 4 feet/1.2 metres from the user. Sound is transmitted from the receiver as a magnetic field which connects to the telecoil in the hearing aid.

The system can be used throughout the home or can be taken with you for use on holiday or when staying with friends and family.
