Contacta enters its 5th decade - 21/06/2010

Contacta celebrated its 40th birthday on 14th May 2010 and can look back at a proud record of helping organisations throughout the world communicate clearly with their staff and customers for the past four decades.

The company has come a long way since its beginnings when it was run out of the 'spare room' of the family home of founder Bert Thomas in south east London. Bert's vision was to create a small business which offered 'big business' levels of professional service to its customers no matter what their size. This  approach remains at the heart of Contacta's business philosophy to this day.

According to Simon Thomas, Bert's son and successor as Managing Director, "serving the best interest of our customers has always been the guiding principle behind what we do at Contacta. It's my job to ensure that our business remains firmly focused on giving our customers a first class experience whenever they deal with us. If we continue to do this, then we can look forward to celebrating Contacta's half century from a position of solid growth and the prospect of an exciting future."
