Speech transfer systems
SecuriCom speech transfer systems enable staff to talk clearly and discreetly with customers through glass security screens. SecuriCom intercom systems can be integrated with Contacta InfoLoop induction loop systems, ensuring equal access to services for customers who wear a hearing aid.

Queue management systems
Systems to manage queues effectively to maximise service efficiency. The range includes audio-visual and ticketing systems.

Cash handling systems
Security solutions for safe cash handling in public areas and secure storage of valuables and cash.

Disability Discrimination Act 1995
The final phase of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 came into force on 1st October 2004. It is now unlawful to discriminate against disabled people by failing to make reasonable adjustments to the structure and facilities of service premises so that physical barriers to access are overcome.

Hearing impairment is a recognised disability under the Disability Discrimination Act, and service providers are required to provide ‘auxiliary aids or services’ to improve communication with people who have a sensory impairment (for example, those who are hearing impaired and wear a hearing aid).

Contacta InfoLoop induction loop systems constitute an ‘auxiliary service’ as defined by the Disability Discrimination Act, and provide the ideal and cost-effective means for service providers to:

fulfil the legal requirement to assist customers who wear a hearing aid, and to
provide a better service for those customers
